About Ms. Becker
Hello! I’m Ms. Becker, and this is my 2nd year at WCHS and my 4th year as a Library Media Specialist. A little about myself:
I’m originally from the Chicago suburbs, and moved to Missouri in 2008 (after a three year adventure in Las Vegas, NV). I have previously taught 5th grade and middle school special education, spent 2 years as an elementary Library Media Specialist, and have worked as and Instructional Designer for a major commercial refrigeration corporation in the St. Louis area. I love sharing the love of reading and technology with students and staff!
I have been married for 14 years, and have a 10 year old son, Charlie. Other than reading and technology, I’m passionate about music. I have been playing saxophone since I was 5 years old, and also play oboe, flute, and a little clarinet. I sing as well. I also have done color guard since high school, and have competed in a DCA-level Drum and Bugle Corps. I am also a semi-professional photographer, having shown in Soulard Art Gallery, and published as part of an advertisement for Stanbury Uniforms.
